GameCulture ist auch der Name des Programms, das die Schweizer Kulturstiftung f\u00fcr die n\u00e4chsten zwei Jahre mit Geld vom Bund f\u00e4hrt und damit die Schweizer Game Entwicklung f\u00f6rdern will.<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gamelab.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/www.gameculture.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-1294\" title=\"www.gameculture\" src=\"http:\/\/www.gamelab.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/www.gameculture-216x300.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"216\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a>Die Pro Helvetia ist \u00fcberzeugt, dass Games zu einem integralen Teil unseres Alltags geworden sind: &#8222;Computers have become our most important tool \u2013 and also our favourite toy. Games are now part of everyday culture. The market is booming and the games sector has turned into the segment of the culture industry with the highest turnover. It employs an increasing number of people producing ever more complex digital worlds. Games manufacturers commission artists of all kinds, ranging from designers to scriptwriters and composers. So it\u2019s high time for organizations that promote the arts to tackle this new medium.&#8220; Es sei also h\u00f6chste Zeit, diese neue Kunstform breiter zu propagieren. Der Untertitel des neuen Game Culture Blogs heisst denn auch: &#8222;From Game to Art&#8220;. Was dies genau heisst, wird sich wohl erst noch weisen m\u00fcssen.<br \/>\nAm 9. September jedenfalls werden in Baden w\u00e4hrend des Fantoche Animationsfestivals die Milestones des neuen Gameculture Programms der Pro Helvetia den Medien und der \u00d6ffentlichkeit pr\u00e4sentiert. Der Startschuss zur direkten F\u00f6rderung von Games und Game-Projekten f\u00e4llt am gleichen Tag. Gef\u00f6rdert werden Game Designer dann erstmals im Fr\u00fchling 2011.
